Trina Moyles is the author of Women Who Dig: Farming, Feminism, and the Fight to Feed the World (University of Regina Press, 2018). In 2019, Women Who Dig was nominated for a High Plains Literary Award. Moyles’s writing has been published widely in The Globe and Mail, The Walrus, Maisonneuve, and Alberta Views. Her essay Herd Memory won the Jon Whyte Memorial Essay Award at the 2019 Alberta Literary Awards. Moyles’s second book, Lookout: Love, Solitude, and Searching for Wildfire in the Boreal is forthcoming with Random House Canada in Spring 2021. She is a Creative Writing MFA student at UBC.
