Anna Boghiguian, Egyptian-Canadian artist of Armenian origin presents a comprehensive solo exhibition at Museum für Gegenwartskunst Siegen. In her work the artist explores the impact of historical, economic and political events on the present day. From a very personal perspective and deep roots in literature, the well-travelled artist engages with the world’s peoples, cultures, places and translates her nomadic experiences into artists’ books, drawings, paintings, collages and installations.
The exhibition is part of Canada’s cultural program as Guest of Honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2021 and is supported by the Embassy of Canada, Berlin.
