This architectural projection presented in the public space of the Evangelical Academy in Frankfurt is a captivating presentation by the National Film Board of Canada (NFB). The projection includes: “Canada in perpetual motion”, an invitation from the NFB to capture the stories, perspectives, evolutions and traditions of those who represent the Canada of yesterday and today; an animation of The Witness Blanket, which was created by artist Carey Newman to honour the children who were forced into the Indian residential school system in Canada; and Exile is Worth the Trip, an animated film coproduced by the National Film Board of Canada and the Quartier des Spectacles Partnership that unveils the places and people who shaped Dany Laferrière’s destiny and brought his pen to life.

The project is part of the cultural program of Canada’s Guest of Honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2021 and is produced by the NFB and supported by the Government of Canada.
