The Québec artist Marie-Ève Levasseur invites to a transition zone where the boundaries between body, technology and nature become blurred, a territory of all possibilities where identities and anatomies change, evolve and merge, and where hybrid communication become reality. Thus, chemical messages emitted by our bodies and a new skin (surface 4.0) based on algae and nanoparticles reintroduce the dimension of the uncontrollable and of surprise in remote communication.
Presented by the art space rosalux in Berlin and supported by the Québec Government Office in Berlin.
This project is part of the culture program related to Canada’s Guest of Honour presentation at the Frankfurt Book Fair.
