Summary
FALLA is an evening of female self-empowerment. Together with the musician Pia Achternkamp, Julia Barrette Laperrière puts certainties about sexuality and body to the test. Therefore, the choreographer and dancer reaches for the strap-on dildo, with which she playfully explores the connections between body, power and sexuality: How does it feel, creating a symbol of power and dominance and how does this feeling affect movement? It is about the conquest and reversal of the phallus as a male construct. The performance will be accessible online.
