Summary
Sydney Smith is an award winning author and illustrator of picture books, he is part of the official Canadian delegation and is invited to the Kinderbuchwochen in Cologne this fall. In this video, he gives children and adults a tour of his studio in Halifax, Canada, and draws a scene from his book “Small in the City”. While doing this he is answering some very interesting questions kids asked him before – for example “When did you know that you wanted to be an illustrator/writer? ” or “How do you create your images?”.
His books in German translation are published by Thienemann Esslinger.
