Summary
The Maple Movies Festival is on tour for the 10th. On the occasion of this anniversary and Canada’s presence as Guest of Honor at the Frankfurt Book Fair, the festival presents remarkable cinematic adaptations of Canadian literature (“Canada by the book”). In the week of the book fair, the festival launches its program in Frankfurt with a kick-off event at the DFF – Deutsches Filminstitut featuring a screening of “An Audience of Chairs” by Deanne Foley and “Now is the Time” by Christopher Auchter.

The project is part of Canada’s cultural program as Guest of Honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2021 and is supported by Telefilm Canada, the Canada Council for the Arts, the Government of Canada and the Embassy of Canada in Berlin.
