Details

Indigenous filmmaking from Canada will be represented at the 8th INDIAN INUIT North America Film Festival with numerous documentaries, short films and features for a young and adult audience. Guests will include Drew Hayden Taylor (Searching for Winnetou) as well as actress, director and producer Tantoo Cardinal, who will receive a “Life Achievement Award” for her life’s work. The Inuit duo PIQSIQ will do present their unique throat singing in a live performance.

Acknowledgement

The project is part of the culture program related to Canada’s Guest of Honour presentation at the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2020 and is supported by the Embassy of Canada in Berlin.
