Details

As part of the international season ACCESS TO DANCE by Joint Adventure, Walter Heun invites several Quebec/Canadian choreographers to Munich. Daina Ashbee addresses the disregard for rights and the violence suffered by Indigenous women in Canada. A cathartic solo, “Serpentine” explores the occupation of space, time and presence. The power of repetition and persistence allows a body to speak, to occupy space, to absorb our attention.
