John Farah’s music embraces elements of Early & Baroque music, Arabic music, minimalism, improvisation, experimental and electronic music. He treats the organ as the original analog synthesizer, looping and processing its sounds, and improvising over electronic patterns and soundscapes, intertwining Middle-Eastern modes and rhythms with Renaissance and Baroque harmonies and counterpoint. The interplay of organ and electronic sounds blur and meld as they reverberate in the acoustic space of the Taborkirche.
