Details
The Norwegian-Canadian text jam session “Women in Battle” is a relay handover from the Guest Country 2019 Norway to the current Guest Country of the Frankfurt Book Fair Canada. A total of 6 female authors and musicians from Canada and Norway will meet virtually in an interactive text jam session. The contributions will be presented in the original language – Norwegian, English, French, Sami, Innu. The event will be moderated in German by Shelly Kupferberg.

The project is part of Canada’s cultural programme as Guest of Honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair. It is coordinated by Nordwindfestival e.V. and supported by the Government of Canada (Embassy of Canada to Germany), Embassy of Norway to Germany and NORLA.
