Weltlesebühne – Translators present new Canadian titles published in German

During Canada’s time as Guest of Honour of the Frankfurt Book Fair, a number of Canadian English and French books have been translated into German, including many from Québec. This Weltlesebühne video series presents a selection of these books. Each literary translator gives a personal insight into their respective work, inviting viewers to discover diverse themes and perspectives.

This video series is part of Canada’s Guest of Honour presentation at the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2021. It was produced by the Weltlesebühne e.V. in collaboration with the Government of Canada (Embassy of Canada in Germany) and the Québec Government Office in Berlin.
